What does the Smart Vent do?

What is the Keen Home Smart Bridge?

The Keen Home Smart Bridge connects your Smart Vents to the internet. But that’s not all it does. The Smart Bridge also extends the capabilities of Smart Vents, allowing them to connect to other devices like the Nest Learning Thermostat. The Smart Bridge also allows your Smart Vents to receive continuous updates that help make your home more comfortable and more energy efficient over time.

What sizes are available?

Smart Vents are currently available in 4"x10", 4"x12", 6"x10", and 6"x12" sizes.

With Trim Kits, Smart Vents support 6"x14", 4"x14", 8"x10", 8"x12", 8"x14", 10"x10", and 12"x12" ducts.

Where do I install them?

  1. Rooms that receive more air than they need.
  2. Rooms adjacent to rooms that don’t receive enough air.
  3. Rooms that are unused for large portions of the day.

How many Smart Vents do I need?

We recommend 4-8 Smart Vents, or about 1/3 of the vents in your home. Click here to calculate how many are right for your home's comfort and efficiency.

What is required?

Smart Bridge or compatible smart home hub to operate (currently Lowe’s Iris and SmartThings). Internet connection, preferably broadband.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping is calculated based on the weight of an order, starting at $5 for orders shipping within the continental United States, and $10 for orders shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, and Canada.

What is the return/exchange policy?
